The RSS mode is unlike the other 4 modes because it doesn't contain songs.  Although the user interface and functionality is similar there are subtle differences.

Some of the column headers have been renamed: Author rather than artist, URL rather than folder, etc..  If you try to export the RSS feed list to an HTML file you will notice that column headers may not match.  However the export will work fine, just remember that artist=author, album is nothing, genre is nothing, length=file size, file size also=file size, and folder=URL

When dragging a file into Song Mixer, usually that file will be added to whatever mode is currently active.  However if the file looks like it might be an RSS, XML, HTML, or any other sort of web page; Song Mixer will automatically switch to RSS mode and import the links found in that file.
